The paper chase begins. - kenny @ 2:35 am

This week's digiCam photos cover some shots from Lojiking's gig and some other randoms.
There are two chunks of graffiti flicks to check out, some buildings and some trains.

I have been extremely happy this weekend, to the point where my face is sore from smiling. Good times, good friends and cool new people that I am getting a chance to know. Saturday night was my good friend Lojiking's CD release party and for those of you that do not know him, he is a local hip-hop artist. And to commemorate this I want to give the first ten people to drop us an e-mail a free copy. Please include a mailing address and allow up to two weeks for shipping if you want some other swag. Also to Julie who I ran in to at the show Saturday. I doubt you will see this, but I hope you do (if so drop me a line). My memory works oddly, I do not forget anything - but sometimes retrieving it takes a moment. Anyhow you said I didn't remember you, at the time this was partially true due to my state but there was some vague remembrance after the fact. And I felt bad afterwards when it all came rushing back like a tidal wave. Including Heidi's apartment below that doctors office near liberty. But the thing that sticks out the most is how much I enjoyed hanging out with you ladies, it was very calming for that chaotic period of my life (nearly 13 years ago). I was sad when I heard about Heidi, she was such a big ball of smiles with bright hair. Anyhow I hope to run in to you again, I want to thank you proper for tranquility.

I have had this odd infatuation with watching myself as of late, it's not some perverse fetish (at least I do not think it is). It is more or less just simple curiosity and it's a hell of a lot more interesting than watching TV. A new line of work has got me playing with a bunch of fun technology, so with the entrance of this I have completely wired my house and life. I have cameras that record audio and video around my house, they also do motion detection - so if I am away, they will start capturing the frames of movement and e-mail them to me. But since deploying this I have found it interesting to watch some of the odd things I do. Those things you do when you think nobody is watching. But I think after a year or so of collecting the interesting snapshots I will start a new project - some sick depraved catalog exposing my intimate moments. It's also fun to have when arguing. "I didn't take your laundry basket", "Bitch I got you video".

I am the king of c-section removal. - kenny @ 11:56 pm

I am having a beer tonight to celebrate my graduation/completion of yet another court ordered out-patient rehabilitation program. It's not like I have a real problem and is it really my fault that the judge doesn't quite understand the ingenious dynamic that is me?

"Mr. Sutton, you do realize you are killing yourself - don't you?"
"Your honor, this is the only way that I can commit suicide without pissing off a lot of people."

I guess the humor died with the hooker that Ted Kennedy killed when he drove off that bridge, but on a serious note if any of you get ordered in to an in-patient treatment program - may I suggest ATC, it is a fine treatment center. One of the best that I have been in, with good people and decent food. Not to mention it's located in the avenues, so the location is great for meeting fine local women of a higher caliber. Anyhow now that I am off the wagon and behind this luxurious 26 inch display (not including the additional 22 inch companion) I return with an overdue update.

Updates:
Last week's digiCam update.
This week's digiCam update.
This week's graffiti project.
Defcon 16. WARNING: Not work safe. It seems that I was the only one from the crew shooting photographs this year, so yeah - that doesn't work to well. So I focused on nudity the first night and then focused on booze the other two nights. With that said, please expect a lot of explicit photos with just a minimal coverage of the conference. I don't do too well without supervision.

Mailbag/communication:

(ken2012) hey
(ken2012) are you the kenny from the site

-Yes, it is me. Next time be patient IRC is a slow paced easy going I will respond at some point type of communication.

Hey Kenny,
I have been having some extremely sexual dreams about you lately..its actually been going on 2 weeks now, which then leads to numerous episodes of me pleasuring myself throughout the day. I'm not talking 2 or 3 times either..its more like 6-8, but i dont know what to think about it..or even if i should be telling you. I guess i just go on enjoying it until they end. What do you think about this? Am i retarded for telling you?

-Hell no you are not retarded for telling me! Continue please...

Rally at La Nicoliere - aadil @ 3:35 am

La Nicoliere is a wet and windy region consisting of a valley, thick green vegetation and a reservoir bearing the same name as the region.

It was on the serpentine and slippery roads descending from the valley to the reservoir that took place the nth local rally championship contest on this past Sunday. I was there and took pictures, which kinda speak for themselves. Enjoy.

p.s I re-organised the albums of my gallery and as a result you will have to update your bookmarks, sorry :d

Just a quick hello. - kenny @ 9:24 am

I was going to put something like this up last week to let you guys know the weekly dub was going to be postponed last week due to vacation/defcon. But prior to leaving I had some major emergencies at work that had to be addressed before my departure. So I stayed awake for 48 hours wrapping stuff up for work, passed out, woke up and left. So this week the dub will return with a large post and I will return later with some words and updates.

Ceci n'est pas un pipe - Teep @ 12:54 pm

As you may or may not have noticed, I've started uploading some random photos of the past couple of months (here). Now I can tell people I have a photographic memory, as my other memory is pretty much shot. I carry my crappy compact around nearly everywhere I go and if there is something that strikes me, I usually take a picture. If I run into street art that I find at least half way interesting, I definitely put it up here since this is, after all, Hektik. To add to the collection of freights Kenny has shot over the years, I've added some shots of passenger trains with some pretty nice pieces on them (here, here, here, here, here, here and here). The white/blue/yellow carriages are the newest trains operating around Amsterdam and they usually look pretty clean & fresh. Seeing them covered up always puts a smile on my face.

In a couple of days I'll be off to France for two weeks. Drive around with a tent in the back. Visit a friend who has built himself a house out there. I'll try and find you guys a worthy BotN before I go. Finally, allow me to point you to a project of mine: Catatonics.

We are all one simple action away from disaster. - kenny @ 10:07 pm

Last week's graffiti project - Walls.
This week's graffiti project - Freights.
Last week's slim digiCam update.

I have become an troll. Recently the good doctor sent me an invitation to an invite only photo community and while I love it and some of the techniques that I have shared with fellow hobbyists and professionals-there also tends to be your standard crowd of internet warriors, the ones that despise you and love to argue for the sheer fact that it gives their life some pseudo-purpose, a war to wage if you will. And while I don't really want to be the community troll it is so easy to control these people. A handful of select words and paragraphs adds such a delicious bit of fuel to the fire. Their blood boils, the hate and contempt pours out of their fingers with every word that they feverishly type. They will show me, they will convince everyone of the piece of shit I am. Its good times and these people take the internet and life itself way too serious, and I am the comedian - too bad they don't understand that they are the punch line in my depraved little world.

I have been busy as of late, nothing too exciting - just preparing for the next few months of travel. My tour kicks off in August with a trip to Vegas, followed by Texas, Idaho, Seattle and then ending in NYC. We shall see what kind of mischief that I can drum up, after all it never gets weird enough for me. So much to do, so behind with the site and content and code - mental note contact Rude Boy about said code projects. This is also an invite to you Rude Boy, to contact me - in case I forget. Well I must cut it short, I need to shower before my company arrives and I need to squeeze some sleep in, I have a big chess match tomorrow... Yes, I have become a nerd to the fifth power.

Life in Mauritius: Rally 2008 Bassin Blanc pics - aadil @ 9:45 pm

Hello. I have just added some pics of the rally I attended last Saturday at Bassin Blanc - which is one of the coldest (because you can see the water vapour in my breaths) and eerie (because the thick mist reminds me of the movie Silent Hill) places here on the island imho. But the view from the hill top is superbe, including the path all the way to the sea downhill. If you look closer, you can sometimes see the waves crashing against the reefs.
Anyway, enjoy and do comment.

Link is here: Rally 2008 Bassin Blanc (or simply click on the above pic)

Cheers.

This picture has been sitting on my hard disk for quite some time now, and I've always wondered what it is exactly about this girl that appeals to me. I could certainly do without the shades sitting on top of her head. Today it struck me: it's her pose. Arms wide, breasts poking ever so slightly through her shirt. It reads: take me, I'm yours. click

The scene behind her reminds me of the ferry ride to Helsingor, Danmark, but that's a whole different story.

This week's digiCam project has some photo's from Gil's birthday party and a few from the Arts Festival, along with a warning - DO NOT CRUST YOUR PCMCIA CARDS!
The graffiti project this week has some photo's sent to us from Collins and a couple of random walls and trains from around town.

I really should take a nap... so no writing for now.
